Past – Present – Future

I’m excited to announce that all the artists I worked with in the recent past are having great exhibitions and pubblications all over the globe! Please find below a list about what’s going on in these weeks and don’t miss to check them out!

Raul Mourao, who I showed in #DocDotMov, is part of  OPEN HOUSE at The Bronx Musuem of the Arts, March 29th 3-5 pm. There will be a guided tour thorugh the current museum show and Music by DJ Afrika Bambaataa!!

Jonathan Monaghan is opening a solo show called ‘Escape Pod‘ at Bitforms Gallery In New York ( March 22 – May 3, 2015).

Tamar Ettun did a residence at the Watermill Center and will present her latest work ‘Open Rehearsal’ on Sunday March 22, 2015. She has also a work in the groupshow ‘Illegal Souvenirs‘ at Field Projects.

Maria Lynch is opening on March 27 her solo exhibition Aforismas, Rizomas, and Selvageria  in Rio De Janeiro (BR) at Anita Schwartz Gallery. (Runs until May 9)

Anne Katrine Senstad is just back from Dubai and is preparing her public art work for the Bruges Triennial 2015 (May 20 – Oct 5, 2015). Her exhibition at Zhulong Gallery in Texas just closed, but here some images.

Nicolas Touron is exhibiting ‘Artificial Moment‘ until April 11 at the Invisible Dog in Brooklyn.

William Corwin was travelling in Europe and opened an exhibition at PUCCS Gallery in Budapest (HU) called ‘Motòrhead’.

Springbreak Art Fair happened at the beginning of the month, and both  Jody Wood and Andrew Ross were invited.  Jody with Moynihan Station Jobs and Opportunities Bulletin Boards, curated by Jacob Rhodes and Jen Schwarting and Andrew with Raf’s Thumb  (yes the big one I showed in October in Chelsea!), curated by Jennifer Sullivan. Andrew will also be parto of the exhibitions  ‘Rob Pruitt’s Flea Market‘ in Venice, opening on May 5th (until May8th) during the official opening of the Venice Biennial.

Jamie Diamond‘s research got a lot of attention and both Hyperallergic and Huffington Post pubblished great reviews about her photgraphic series Motherhood. If you remember, some of them were part of my show ‘Everything 6 Nothing Part II, last October in Chelsea.

Rudy Cremonini just closed a group show at Federico Bianchi Contemporary Art in Milano (I).

Speaking of my own projects, I’m happy to announce that I will talk at the AWAD Meeting on Wednesday March 25, 10 am – 12 pm about ‘Art PR & Curating Exhibitions in the US and Europe’ and introduce publicly this curatorial project.

Furthermore, stay tuned for the pubblication of the catalog about Silvia Trappa in Milano in late May and the curation of the solo exhibition of Alex Yuzdon ‘A Room for A Night’ at LABottega in Pietrasanta (May 30 – July 19, 2015).
